The first half of the game is complete!!! The audio is in, the game is working, and everything looks fine. If you want to test it out, go to http://students.westliberty.edu/jholbrook/danio.html. Go and check it out! Leave a comment or a suggestion if you play it. Have fun!

P.S. If you beat the temporary game, you will reach the “To Be Cont’d” screen.

Great! I’m happy you liked it! The final game will be posted next week! Don’t worry. You’ll find Mario soon.

I like it, the description for the flower power and other joke abilities is hysterical.

On a slightly more serious note, though the games done for laughs so its not a problem, some of the choices have no indication that they’ll lead to the players death, generally when the player is making a choice they need to be able to at least hazard a guess as to whether a choice can lead to a fail/death state or not but as I said, this is clearly a game being played for laughs so its not actually a problem at all. Also, since the first decision can’t be failed, it might be better to put the reset/continue point after the first decision rather than before it. The selection of which brick to headbutt is also slightly finicky but its not really a problem.

Thanks for the comment. I agree with the pointers. There are a few other small, touchy things I want to fix. This game is purely for fun and laughter. I just want people to pull out their old systems for classic Mario action when they finish Danio’s adventure. The reason I give no warning on what will kill Danio and what will not is because I want them to see both sides of their choices. By dying in a random, goofy way, they will hopefully want to strive forward to find Mario and see how else they can lose. Again, like you said, it’s supposed to be funny. Thanks a lot for your input. I truly appreciate it! I look forward to hearing what you have to say about the finished product.
